It features exceptional radio performance and external antenna connectors which allows you to choose your own antenna.  Links can be established over distances of up to 50km and can provide significantly increased throughput (up to 25+Mbps TCP/IP) over other solutions in comparable environments. Additionally, Ubiquiti has made public Linux SDK and toolchain resources for developers.
