400mW Outdoor Ubiquiti NS2 8dbi Kit. With this kit you get the Ubiquiti NanoStation 2  400mW(26dbm) Wireless Outdoor Access Point with external antenna connector, EnGenius 8dbi Omni antenna and a 1 meter coax pigtail. Self amalgamating tape is included to seal the outdoor antenna connectors. The outdoor Ubiquiti radio comes with its own Power over Ethernet (PoE) supply, which means it can be located in the most convenient location for best coverage. All you need to do is supply the Ethernet connection to the location the access point is to be installed.

Ideal use is for the supply of Wi-Fi to large outdoor areas. These are very popular for motels, hotels and other complexes where outdoor coverage is needed, and the existing indoor hotspot is not reaching far enough. Multiple radio units can be used in Wireless Distribution System (WDS) mode to give far reaching seamless coverage, with only one connection point to the network.

Go Wireless NZ can also pre-configure these units ready to be installed by your local electrician. For only $10 +GST this will save time and money during the installation.

Note. This kit does not include a billing gateway, it is just used to extend the coverage of you existing internet connection.
