The PC12480.8 DC-to-DC Converter is designed to convert 12VDC (12-26) battery voltage to 48VDC @ 0.85A. It is ideal for mobile applications that require 802.3af 48VDC electronic equipment to be powered by converting the 12VDC (12-26) power from most cars, trucks or aircraft. In mobile wireless LAN applications, this converter is ideal for use with 48VDC Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) equipment. The PC12480.8 also stabilizes the input voltage allowing it to work with sensitive wireless equipment. In addition, the PC12480.8 can be use in 12V solar powered wireless applications. Compatible with Cisco®, D-Link® and most 48 VDC access points.

This unit features a compact low profile case. The PC12480.8 connects to a vehicle using a standard cigarette plug (input) which features a 28 in. (0.7m) lead. A 2.5mm 76 in. (1.9m) long DC plug then connects the converter to the 48VDC device.
